Omscientia, Inc. is pleased to announce that the company has
entered into a distribution agreement with Zenobia Therapeutics (La
Jolla, CA) to offer the entire proprietary Zenobia Fragment
Screening Library to labs commercially as a screening kit.
Omscientia is excited to be offering the unique Fragment Screen,
which was developed by the Zenobia Therapeutics research team lead
by CEO, Vicki Nienaber, pioneer of the Fragment Screening Method. |

Zenobia Therapeutics, Inc., the leader in fragment-based
lead discovery for diseases of the central nervous system, announced
successful completion of the first phase of its services agreement with
Syntonix Pharmaceuticals, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Biogen Idec
(NASDAQ: BIIB).
As part of the agreement, Syntonix gains access to Zenobia’s technology
and expertise in structural biology, crystallization and X-ray structure
determination. Zenobia completed three unique protein structures during
the first five months of the agreement. The agreement includes research
funding and milestone payments. |

Zenobia Therapeutics, Inc.
(Zenobia) the leader in fragment-based lead discovery
(FBLD) for CNS diseases, announced today that they are adding a 352
compound fragment library to their product offerings. The library
is ready for screening by X-ray, NMR, and SPR methods, contains
soluble, verified protein binders, is shape and functionally
diverse, and has an average molecular weight of 155 Da. The
compounds are pre-plated and will initially cost ~ $11/compound. The
library was constructed by Zenobia’s team of seasoned FBLD
professionals with over 25 years combined experience. |

Therapeutics Development Initiative award from The Michael J. Fox
Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The program targets industry-based
research with potential to fundamentally alter the course of Parkinson's
disease (PD) treatment. In collaboration with Dr. Christopher Ross of
Johns Hopkins University, Zenobia will discover and develop compounds
that block the activity of LRRK2, a protein that is believed to be
overactive in PD patients. |

research at their facility in La Jolla. Zenobia was founded on June 1,
2008, is privately funded and moved into their facility on July 1. The

limited population diseases that are traditionally not pursued by larger
