Coming in February!
Fragment library 2 was designed in collaboration with BioBlocks, Inc utilizing many of their unique building blocs. As with Library 1, the criteria for this library are more stringent than the commonly quoted rule-of-three. Potencies for compounds with these properties typically range from 1-10,000 uM. Highly soluble (200mM in 100% DMSO), the library is suitable for screening with most well known screening methods including NMR, SPR and x-ray crystallography. We ship the library as dry films in 96 well plates. Approximately, 1.5 mg of each compound is included in the kit (0.05ml of a 200mM solution when dissolved).
FAQ Library 2:
How many compounds does the second pass library have?
The second pass library contains 300 compounds. The compounds are pre-plated to facilitate rapid access to multiple screening methods and robotics.
Is there any overlap between Library 1 and Library 2?
No, the two libraries are independent and there are no compounds in common between the two. For this library, particular attention to core diversity was considered.
How is the library distributed and used?
The library is distributed on four 96 well plates containing dry compound. Addition of 50μL of solvent will yield a 200mM solution. Compounds are soluble to 200mM in 100% DMSO.
What is the recommended storage for Library 2?
We recommend that the plates of dry compound are stored at room temperature. It is important that the area does not have a lot of moisture. For long term storage, a desiccator may be used. Once dissolved, we recommend aliquoting and freezing the plates to avoid freeze-thaw aggregation issues.
Does Zenobia sell the fragments as individuals?
We currently don't sell the fragments as individuals however if you would like to buy them we would be happy to discuss this possibility.
Does Zenobia offer another fragment libraries?
Zenobia also sells Library 1, a first pass library.
