Zenobia Therapeutics scientists are pioneers in the field of fragment-based lead discovery and mostly recently applying it to CNS disease. Our technology allows us to rapidly identify potent and selective lead compounds with properties consistent with CNS penetration. Our current focus is on targets misregulated in neurodegenerative diseases. We have demonstrated proof of concept for our most advanced LRRK2 Parkinson's disease program.
Diseases of the nervous system are among the most devastating to patients and their families. They are also among the most difficult to treat and have been a challenge for researchers. Current treatments were largely discovered through functional screening and provide symptomatic relief of varying degrees.
